Paint with no VOC's... such a wonderful invention. Six months ago I went in search and found to my dismay that no one around here carries them. Maybe, I should look again, but I live in a part of the country that is only "green" in the summer. Seriously, we are surrounded by farms and when I ask at the local grocery store if something is grown locally, I get a response that is equal to "Of course not! That would be disgusting!" Okay, enough ranting. I thought about having paint shipped to me, but since I am so picky about color, I was worried that would turn into a fiasco. If I was really "green" I would just learn to live with white and not paint when it isn't necessary. But I am afraid that I too, have a long way to go. Ah, yes. I wish I had more motivation to move furniture around-- I usually just think really hard the first time and have a hard time believing I could do better (although I'll bet I could!) I love red also and even my dining room is a deep persimmon color. My kitchen is a darker red, but not too dark. I have a wall that is a chocolate brown also, and my guest bathroom was orange with glazes on it (that recently became the same persimmon as the dining room). I think your living room looks very cheerful and the bows on the curtains are a nice touch, a great detail. You are brave to use so much red!
