Thrifty Thursday
Well, it seems to be thrifty thursday and that fits just nicely with what I was going to post. I found this fun banner a few weeks ago but it took a while to get it photographed.
It has some really fun parts, but definitely doesn’t work as a whole for me so I will not feel any guilt about cutting into it and using it for something else…. can’t wait!!!
We also walked from our hotel to Milo City Cafe for breakfast this morning and stopped at the Goodwill across the street on our way back. I found this fun table cloth. I know it is quite hideous, but I can’t wait to combine it with some other quirky fabrics I have.
I have a project stirring right now. Too bad it will all have to be hand sewing. I couldn’t justify packing my sewing machine, but I still couldn’t leave the house without needle, thread, and my sewing scissors.
I often marvel at your ability to take “dear God why?” materials that I would fear to share a room with, and make something beautiful and artistic and lovely with them. Seeing the teal/orange/black table cloth makes me worry though.
Will be interesting what you come up with!

Love that banner. Can’t wait to see what you make with it. I just found an Obi at my guild auction on Tuesday. It’s got some damage which gives me the go ahead to cut it. Just not sure what I want to do with it yet. Congrats on your Whip Lash win!
Is that Japanese or Korean? I was thinking Korean… Great finds, as usual!
