More Upholstery
This time it was just work.
Going from white scratching post fabric (not really, that is just what the cat thought!) to new white didn’t give me the same euphoria I get from doing something creative.

I kept imagining these chairs dressed in something much more funky. But this job wasn’t for me, so I didn’t get to decide.
I did still think it was fun to take it all apart and figure out how they made it, then put it all back together nice and new.
Wow, what a talent you are!
“…chairs dressed in something more funky” immediately caught my imagination… I imagined the seat and legs in jeans fabric, with the back and arms in oxford cloth– buttons down the middle of the seat back and at the bottom of the arms… but then the elbows would look strange… :-)
Even grandfathers in California can enjoy all
the sewing and marvelous stuff that comes from it. And we don’t have to wait until January (don’t
forget, that is my birthday month)to feel comfortable blogging. I loved that wonderful bag you are/were making. Watch my weekly letter (is it a huge blog?) for more on lady’s handbags.
We have the laptop on the kitchen table now, so Grammy can use it. She has recently learned to type.
Hmm…this looks familiar! I’d much rather it be sitting on the dock (with me in it!) than in my living room. And by the way…I would have been up for more funky, but not within the time frame.
Thanks again for the great job…Tucker hasn’t used the chairs once as a scratching post! Woo Hoo!
