Is blogging a winter sport?
Wow, it is hard to sit down here and post. During the winter months, I would usually sit down at the computer in the evening. Now I find myself wanting to be out watering the plants and watching the sunset after the kids are in bed. I just haven’t seemed to figure out a good time to fit it into my routine. Thank heavens for all those wonderful bloggers at the top of the world that can keep me inspired through our summer months. I did want to post a little teaser of the bag I am finishing.

I really like this bag and feel like it has inspired all kinds of new project ideas. So I can’t wait to have some time to do a little experimenting.
That bag is lovely! I can’t wait to see the rest of it! :)
Your bag looks really nice. Can’t wait to see the whole thing.
Ha!
I just wrote something very similar in content…
Great bag, by the way!
You make the coolest stuff! I appreciate the way you see the potential in materials. I would probably just passed right by most of the stuff you use, but it ends up looking great after you work with it. Nice work!
Hello — I love this backpackish bag and the quilted fabric in the front. Thanks for visiting and commenting — glad I found your blog (a thrifter after my own hear :))!
I want to see the rest of it! I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas. What I see on top looks so inviting.
On your other point, I’ve had the same issue. I don’t want to blog in the summer, I want to be outside doing something to blog about later. The idyllic weather is infectious. I hope I can remember how beautiful it is now when January rolls around and I wonder why I live here!
I love what I can see of this backpack! It looks really well constructed and the colors are great. Your blog looks fun too!
Bethany! I’m so glad I got to see the finished product! I love your work.
It was nice seeing you on Friday. Maybe when Christy is feeling up to it, me and you and her can have another afternoon tea break.
Hope you’re feeling better!
Sherry
I’m the same way right now. I’m also noticing an audible slacking off in general of bloggers located in the Northern Hemisphere. We’re all definitely mommies first, artists second. Not a bad priority list.
